Red Lobster Biscuits
- 2 cups flour
- 1 TBS- Sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 3 TBS chilled butter (cut into small pieces)
- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tsp dried Italian seasoning herbs
- 1 cup buttermilk (I use normal milk with a tablespoon vinegar)
- 1/2 cup sour cream (or use more milk)
- A little melted butter to spread on before and after baking the biscuits
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Mix all dry ingredients together. Cut in the butter. Add the cheese and dried herbs. Add buttermilk and sour cream until just sticky. Spoon onto cookie sheet. Brush with melted butter before and after cooking. Cook for 15 minutes or until they have brown edges.
